For almost 70 years, El Porvenir Christian Camp and Retreat Center has stood as a place of refuge, where generations have come to reconnect with God, with nature, and with themselves.

After fires, floods, and years of uncertainty, we faced a difficult question: What comes next?

Last year, we were at a crossroads.
This year, it’s a different story.

We didn’t just survive. We kept the doors open. Thanks to your prayers, your giving, and support from FEMA and friends across the country, El Porvenir is finally entering a new season of restoration, renewal, and hope.

The board has approved over $2.3 million in capital improvements for the next 18 months. A new road will open the way to permanent staff housing. Four new cabins will welcome our seasonal staff and volunteers. This is what stewardship looks like visible, lasting, and purposeful. And now this is what we’ve been waiting for. The road is funded. The staff cabins are coming, and the new welcome center will soon greet guests as they arrive.

We’re still here. We’re rebuilding.
Your investment has mattered.
Now help build what’s next.

We’ve come this far because people have believed in what this camp stands for. But to finish what’s been started, we need stakeholders, people who will invest in the next 70 years of ministry.

In 2026, El Porvenir Christian Camp celebrates its 70th anniversary. The groundwork is here, but to complete this next phase, we need partners who believe in the long game people who see this camp not as a memory, but as a mission.

Your support today ensures that milestone isn’t just celebrated, it’s multiplied. Because El Porvenir isn’t just a place. It’s a promise, that no matter what we face, God is still at work here.

We’re still here. We’re rebuilding. Your investment has mattered. Now help build what’s next.
