The Calf Canyon and Hermit’s Peak Fire is an ongoing dangerous situation that has directly impacted our camp. All personnel are safely evacuated. Access to camp is restricted due to the hazardous condition of the road and active fire in the area. Please do not attempt to travel to camp, highway 65 is currently closed to all traffic.
We understand that many of you have questions about your event or involvement with El Porvenir in the coming weeks. Please be patient with us as we gather information and evaluate the developing situation. At this time, all events that were scheduled at the camp property in May are canceled. Events this summer are currently being evaluated, we will update that status towards the end of this week.
Camp is unable to currently receive mail, so please hold unnecessary mail until our access to mail is restored. Camp calls are currently only being received for urgent matters, so please hold unnecessary calls at this time.
