Hi friends. In an effort to align our actions with those of our community and yours, we want you to know that all on-site guest services at El Porvenir are now canceled through May 15th. The clay shoot fundraiser at the Amarillo Gun Club that was scheduled for May 16th is also being postponed.
In recognition that the situation and government guidance is changing day to day, our current plan is to wait until Saturday May 2nd to make any decision about summer events. If that changes, we will let you know.
The El Porvenir staff and board are in regular contact about this situation, weighing how God might use this disruption for our collective good, exploring what options will best serve our mission to change lives at camp. Our future is bright!

The small group of staff that live at El Porvenir will continue to prepare our facility for use catching up on maintenance projects while socially isolating ourselves from the outside world and protecting our families.
